Rev. Emmanuel Koney was born in Accra, Ghana, where he had his formal education before relocating to the Netherlands in the mid 1980's. Reverend Koney is a trained Pastor, Missionary, licensed Counselor and Minister of Religion.
He is a conference speaker, teacher, trainer and is widely traveled.
Pastor Emmanuel Koney was instrumental in several church plantings across Europe mainland. He served as the National Coördinator of the Church of Pentecost in the Netherlands from 1990-1995, moved than to Belgium where he served in the capacity of the National Coördinator of the Church of Pentecost in Belgium.
In the year 2000, Pastor Emmanuel Koney founded the Pentecost Revival Church International which he serves till to date as the General Overseer.
As a Kingdom minded leader with a passionate desire to see the unity of the body of Christ in Amsterdam and the Netherlands, Pastor Koney's untiring efforts culminated in his election as the Chairman of the Pentecostal Council of Churches in 2006, a position he occupies up to today.
Given his involvement in the migrant community in the Netherlands and his desire to find solutions to some of the pressing problems of migrants, he was instrumental in introducing several initiatives involving the migrant community and Dutch state institutions / organizations.
One of such initiatives is the African Community-Police Dialogue Forum, in close cooperation with the Police in Amsterdam South-East, which he is chairing since 2008 up to today.
Continuous lifetime learning. Pastor Emmanuel Koney knows to even plan time within his very busy working weeks, to attend executive training programs for his own continued professional development, aimed at serving the community at its very best.
